This 1433 m² new build food retail store continued Aldi Stores Ltd regional expansion programme in the North West of England. Remodelling of external areas provided 4022 m² of new car parking, paving and landscaping with associated drainage, and a new road junction adjacent to the store.

O’Neil and Partners provided full QS services, including initial feasibility budget cost estimating and traditional procurement of work packages utilising measured Bills of Quantities.

The development at Norris Green includes the new build Aldi Foodstore and a training academy as part of a larger retail development. The Aldi Academy will provide an ‘in-store’ environment in which to train up to 100 staff and apprentices each year for the whole of the Merseyside area.

Works were undertaken under a Construction Management procurement procedure with separate works packages.

This project comprised the extensive upgrade and refurbishment of an existing building to provide a retail sales outlet and showroom, with a single storey extension to provide a demonstration and teaching facility with storage area.

O’Neil and Partners provided full QS services, including initial feasibility budget cost estimating and traditional tendering procurement utilising measured Bills of Quantities.

The project comprised an internal fit out of a warehouse incorporating a retail sales outlet alongside a training facility with salon and lecture theatre. This project was an internal fit out of a warehouse to provide a sales area and training facility with a presentation room.

Having previously undertaken a successful project in Bolton for the same client, O’Neil and Partners were again appointed to provide full QS services.

Working across the Middleton and Neston regional areas, the practice provides Quantity Surveying services on new build, extension, refurbishment and fit out projects. The works are procured on a Construction Management basis, with numerous work package contractors and suppliers being directly contracted for the various work elements.

This project comprised the extensive upgrade and refurbishment of an existing franchise dealership, with refurbishment of the private and commercial vehicle sales showrooms.

Also upgraded was the parts storage area and modernisation of the workshop and maintenance bays, together with replacement forecourt and parking facilities.

This project comprised the complete refurbishment of an existing first floor office area and construction of a new 2 storey glazed entrance and reception area with lift within a live working environment

This, together with extensive remodelling of external areas to provide 3500 m² of new car parking with associated drainage.

Employed by contractor, Atkinson & Morley Ltd, ONP provided post contract quantity surveying services on this £330k refurbishment project to agree variation costs and reach settlement and agreement of the final account with the Client’s representatives.
