Under the Primary Capital Build Programme, Highfield Primary School received planning permission to provide additional classrooms, an outdoor learning zone and a new IT suite.

The scheme involved a new 2 storey extension housing a computer room, two classrooms and resource area, and an outdoor teaching area covered by a canopy.

A 750 m² single storey extension at Oxford Grove Primary School provides 6 new classrooms with ancillary cloakroom accommodation, a staff room and resource areas.

Also, alteration and refurbishment of the existing school facilities provided a nursery resource area, and the provision of a music room, studio and reception offices within the existing library facility.
