The project was undertaken in phases to suit the decanting timescales of the existing Claremont Ward. Claremont Ward was then demolished to enable construction of extensive secure outdoor accommodation.
The internal refurbishment comprised extensive internal alterations including forming an additional 15 bedrooms with ensuites, and providing further specialist seclusion room facilities.
Full QS services were provided, including initial feasibility budget cost estimating, traditional tendering procurement utilising measured Bills of Quantities, preparation of contract documents, monthly interim valuations and cost reporting, providing budget cost advice, and settlement and agreement of the final account.
