The project was the refurbishment of existing space in the 1829 Building at Bowmere Hospital Cheshire to provide modern office facilities for administration staff. The refurbishment included the provision of a staff room and kitchen facility.

Full QS services were provided, including initial feasibility budget cost estimating, monthly interim valuations and cost reporting, and settlement and agreement of the final account.

The project was undertaken in phases to suit the decanting timescales of the existing Claremont Ward. Claremont Ward was then demolished to enable construction of extensive secure outdoor accommodation.

The internal refurbishment comprised extensive internal alterations including forming an additional 15 bedrooms with ensuites, and providing further specialist seclusion room facilities.

The project comprised of extensive internal refurbishment, new cast iron drainage within the undercroft area, provision of an external packaged plantroom, complete with concrete base and retaining walls and extensive backlog maintenance works.

Full QS services were provided, including initial feasibility budget cost estimating, traditional tendering procurement.

This project comprised the construction of a new single storey extension complete with extensive internal refurbishment within the existing Rehabilitation Department at Salford Royal University Teaching Hospital.

The project required intricate phased working to ensure the Rehabilitation Department remained operational throughout the construction phase works.

This project comprised relocation of the existing orthotics department.

The Trust engaged their site based Measured Term Contractor to undertake the works, which required out of hours working and temporary partitions to maintain access for the adjacent Porters Department.

The project comprised the upgrade of the existing fire compartmentation within the underground service ducts beneath the Royal Bolton Hospital.

This entailed construction of new fire walls complete with fire rated doorsets, provision of new CCTV, lighting and fire detection.

This new build extension at the Royal Bolton Hospital provided a dedicated Coronary Care Unit to enhance and update the hospitals existing facilities.

O'Neil and Partner’s role as Project Quantity Surveyor and their extensive experience in working on live hospital sites ensured that this project was delivered smoothly, on time and within the Client’s budget.

This project comprised the complete refurbishment of an existing Nightingale Ward at the Royal Bolton Hospital to provide a total of 25 beds in fully segregated, infection controlled ward areas, to help ease winter bed pressures and to enhance and update the hospitals existing facilities.

O'Neil and Partner’s role as Project Quantity Surveyor and their extensive experience in working on live hospital sites ensured that this project was delivered smoothly, on time and within the Client’s budget.

This project comprised the general internal refurbishment of an existing dental practice, together with an extension to provide additional dental treatment rooms.

The works were carried out in a live environment with specific Health and Safety requirements to ensure the continuous operation of the clinic whilst the works were undertaken.

Full QS services were provided, including initial feasibility budget cost estimating, traditional tendering procurement utilising measured Bills of Quantities, preparation of contract documents, monthly interim valuations and cost reporting, and settlement and agreement of the final account.

The project comprised the construction of a new two storey building to facilitate clinics, consulting rooms and offices.

The works also comprised extensive external works inclusive of widening the existing hospital main access road.

This project comprised the general internal refurbishment of an existing medical practice, together with an extension to provide an additional GP’s consulting room and the installation of a new first floor area within the roof space to provide staff accommodation.

The phased works were carried out in a live environment with specific Health and Safety requirements to ensure the continuous operation of the Health Centre whilst the works were undertaken.

The clinical trials unit was a fully measured traditionally tendered scheme that comprised extensive internal refurbishment within the University Teaching Hospital.

As Project Quantity Surveyors, O'Neil and Partners were then further instructed to provide measured Bills of Quantities for the additional Patch Test Facility works for pricing and negotiation with the successful Clinical Trials Unit contractor.

The project comprised construction of a new 460 m² single storey building.

This new building provides assessment and treatment facilities combined with access to community services such as residential and domiciliary intermediate care, crisis response and hospital at home.
