Construction work has recently commenced on Bolton Lads and Girls Club’s new Multi Sports facility, for which O’Neil and Partners are providing Quantity Surveying services directly to the Club.

The £1.7million project will comprise of 4 changing rooms with segregated shower and toilet facilities catering for 16 people each, a disabled changing room and two smaller changing rooms with showers for two match officials. It will have a full size 3g pitch installed with flood lights along with redevelopment of the existing natural turf pitches. The new facility will also incorporate a new parking facility and overflow car-park to accommodate the increase in capacity of users and remove current safety issues.

The Hacken Lane facility will not only be of benefit to the Club’s current football teams, but it will support them in extending their sports offer to include cricket, hockey and rounders whilst giving more young people better facilities and opportunities to become sporting stars.
