Under the Primary Capital Build Programme, Highfield Primary School received planning permission to provide additional classrooms, an outdoor learning zone and a new IT suite.
The scheme involved a new 2 storey extension housing a computer room, two classrooms and resource area, and an outdoor teaching area covered by a canopy.
Further extension and refurbishment of the existing school was also given planning permission, whilst the adjacent small library was demolished to provide a new car park and upgraded external play areas.
O’Neil & Partners are providing full QS services including initial feasibility budget cost estimating, traditional tendering procurement utilising measured Bills of Quantities, preparation of contract documents, monthly interim valuations and cost reporting, and settlement and agreement of the final account.
The project was completed on programme and within budget.
